Mature height - 8'x8', Growth - Fast, Light - S, Soil - Med., Origin - China

A fast growing shrub that will bring months of color from July to the fall, in flower and for the butterflies it attracts. May benefit from being cut back in winter in the north, to avoid both snow damage and  increase summer flowering. Colors range through pink, mauve, blue, dark purple.WARNING.A plant that needs to be carefully sited as seeds itself around garden. Can become  invasive, have found a stray seedlings in city sidewalks, and on river banks.
