Often seen covering steep, sometimes wooded slopes. Multiple cultivated uses. We have grown these as a standard, single stem to 5 feet and cut back hard after flowering. Will make like a weeping tree again by summer. Can be trained up a wall or post, up to 15 ft and then will cascade down. Good to let fall over a wall. Best Forsythia for use in arranging, cut long branches will arch out of a vase.

Great to put into some shade. We are not about start growing 50 different forsythia cultivars, but this one couldn't be passed up.
